The first thing that needs to be done is rinsing the board. That way any food residue will be removed. Then you can soak a cloth in vinegar and scrub the cutting board.
Continue with pouring hydrogen peroxide all over the board – let it sit for a few minutes so that it can get rid of the germs and rinse well.
If there are any stains on the board you should scrub it with salt and lemon juice. I usually sprinkle salt, cut a lemon in half, and scrub the board with one half of the lemon.
